Dresser-Rand business to supply compressor train for air separation plant in China

The Dresser-Rand business, a part of the Siemens Power and Gas Division, received an order from Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions Hangzhou Co., Ltd. for an innovative compressor train to be used in an air separation plant in China. Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for July 2017, with commercial operation expected to commence in March 2018. Located in Dalateqi (Inner Mongolia), the cryogenic air separation plant will supply industrial gases, including oxygen and nitrogen, to produce light hydrocarbon, a chemical widely used in the energy industry. The compressor train includes the newly-developed Siemens STC-SI main air compressor, an STC-GV (H) booster air compressor, and an SST-600 steam turbine.
