E.ON announces major onshore wind farm US investment

E.ON announced today that it will build the 228 megawatt onshore wind farm Bruenning’s Breeze in Willacy County, Texas. The wind farm will feature 76 three-megawatt turbines provided by the German manufacturer Nordex. Bruenning’s Breeze is scheduled for commissioning at the end of next year. Today’s announcement comes as the Company is currently constructing its Radford’s Run Wind Farm in Illinois. ….
