IAEA Peaceful Uses Initiative Reaches €100 Million Funding Milestone

An International Atomic Energy Agency initiative to help countries benefit from peaceful uses of nuclear technology reached a funding milestone this month with 100 million euros received in voluntary contributions since its launch in 2010. The Peaceful Uses Initiative (PUI) has become an important vehicle for raising extra-budgetary contributions which supplement the IAEA’s Technical Cooperation Fund to support technical cooperation and other Agency projects involving peaceful applications of nuclear technology.….
