Master Chemical Engineering

Universiteit Twente
Chemical Engineering is a broad discipline that encompasses so much more than chemistry alone. Chemical engineers are creative problem solvers who use their scientific and technical expertise to develop novel chemical processes, materials and products for a wide variety of applications. In the Master’s programme in Chemical Engineering at the University of Twente, you will learn to combine the various elements of your knowledge to develop and implement processes, products and materials. You can choose one of two specializations: Chemical & Process Engineering, which is all about developing, optimizing and designing chemical processes or Molecular & Materials Engineering, where the focus is on designing, developing and characterizing new materials or material properties.
You will choose your specialization before you start your Master’s programme and your choice will determine the core courses and electives available to you. Both tracks have a set curriculum with a fixed number of required courses but plenty of room for choice.
