Siemens to showcase new onshore wind turbines and service innovation

At the WindEnergy 2016 trade show Siemens will showcase various innovations designed to address the challenges of the energy transition: From wind energy generation under different conditions to grid access and storage. From September 27 to 30, the company will be presenting its latest developments at its 360-square-meter booth B6.362 in Hall 6 at the world’s leading expo for wind energy in Hamburg. Siemens is appearing under the motto: “Smart solutions every step of the way”. New products to be launched include a series of new onshore wind turbines and a new modular service concept for individual demands. “In our role as a large player in the wind industry we see the combined WindEnergy Hamburg and Wind Europe Conference as the key global forum for innovation and progress in our technology,” said Siemens Wind Power CEO Markus Tacke. ….
