Siemens to supply key power plant components to industrial customer in Mexico
Siemens has received an order to supply an H-class gas turbine, one SST-800 steam turbine and two associated generators as well as four switchgear units for the Altamira combined cycle cogeneration power plant in Mexico. The entire power plant will have an electrical capacity of around 350 megawatts (MW) and will also provide process steam, making this the largest private cogeneration project to date for Siemens in this country. …
