Siemens to supply turbines for the Valle de México II combined cycle power plant
Siemens will provide H-class power plant technology to Mexico yet again. The equipment will be installed in the new combined cycle power plant 298 CC Valle de México II. The natural-gas-fired power plant will have an installed capacity of 615 megawatts and will be located in the municipality of Acolman. The customer is a consortium consisting of Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios and Initec Energía from Spain, and Avanzia Instalaciones from Mexico that will build the plant on an EPC basis.
