WBCSD and Chinese businesses stand together to meet the climate challenge

Today, the Chief Operating Officer of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Peter White is in Beijing to continue the international momentum of the Low Carbon Technology Partnerships initiative (LCTPi), congratulating Chinese companies on their contributions in tackling the climate challenge and joining them in calling on other businesses in China to join their efforts to cut carbon emissions. 
Led by the WBCSD, LCTPi is a unique initiative whose size and scale is unmatched across the world. More than 140 companies and nearly 50 partners have joined the initiative to put together action plans for the development and deployment of low-carbon technology, designed to reach ambitious targets on emissions reduction.
