World Business Council for Sustainable Development and Yale University Announce New Partnership

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) today announced a partnership with the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies (F&ES) and the Yale School of Management (SOM) that will promote collaboration between Yale scholars and global business leaders to address critical sustainability issues. This new partnership builds on the long-standing relationship between WBCSD’s Forest Solutions Group (FSG) and The Forests Dialogue (TFD) hosted at Yale University. TFD is an independent and well-recognized platform and process for multi-stakeholder discussion and collaboration on the most pressing local and global issues facing forests and people. The WBCSD was a founding member of this platform and the FSG has been engaged with TFD ever since on critical topics, including Forests & Climate, Forest Certification and Intensively Managed Planted Forests. “We often talk about a transformational change of our society when we speak about climate action.
