Business & Climate Summit: 1.000 leiders over uitvoering klimaatakkoord
7 juni 2016 – Op 28 en 29 juni komen in Londen duizend leiders uit het bedrijfsleven, investeerders en politici samen op de Business & Climate Summit. Ze willen, in navolging van het klimaatakkoord in Parijs, komen tot een stappenplan naar een CO2-vrije samenleving.
Ook willen de partijen kijken hoe de transitie naar een CO2-vrije wereld kansen biedt voor het bedrijfsleven en zullen er tijdens de top samenwerkingsafspraken worden gemaakt, aldus de organisatie van de top op de website.

Onder meer VN-klimaatchef Christiana Figueres, Total-topman Patrick Pouyanné, Roger Giford (City of London’s Green Finance Initiative) en Roberto Azevêdo van de World Trade Organization zullen spreken op de Business & Climate Summit.
De vorige bijeenkomst was in mei vorig jaar, vóór de klimaatonderhandelingen in Parijs.
