Minor Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Development

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Minor is part of a package that is aimed at creating students’ sensitivity and competencies for developing business on the basis of a product/service concept developed at the UT. This HTHT package consists of two minors: innovation & entrepreneurship and new technology business development. Participants from engineering programs collaborate with students from social science programs in a semester of business planning activities. Within multidisciplinary teams, they gain more knowledge about ways of exploiting new technology-based ideas while applying theory into practice through case learning and real-life project work. This minor is particularly meant for those students that have not had a similar module as part of their major.
