Siemens awarded wind turbine order from EDF Luminus for two projects in Belgium

EDF Luminus, the second largest player in the Belgian energy market, has ordered wind turbines at Siemens Wind Power for two projects located in the Belgian municipalities of Dessel and Mol as well as in Beveren. The nine 3.2 megawatt (MW) machines of the Siemens D3 product platform will be installed at the wind projects “Sibelco” and “Katoen Natie – Loghidden City”. The customer, EDF Luminus, is mainly owned by Électricité de France (EDF) with a 63.5% stake. The wind energy order includes a service and maintenance agreement for a period of 15 years.….
