Siemens signs long-term service agreement for existing power stations in Egypt
- Solution upgrades to help meet demand peaks at three power plants currently operating in Egypt
- Will help ensure reliability and availability of country’s energy supply
Siemens has extended a long-term contract to provide service and maintenance, as well as component upgrades, at the Nubaria, Talkha and El Kureimat power stations in Egypt. The agreement was signed under the supervision of Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), represented by Middle Delta Electricity Production Company and Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company. The 10-year extension calls for Siemens to continue providing service and maintenance for eight SGT5-4000F gas turbines and the associated generators. ….
