‘Snelle opmars zonnepanelen bedreiging voor energiebedrijven’
18 juni 2015 – Adviesbureau Roland Berger verwacht dat 9 tot 12 procent van de totale Europese elektriciteitsproductie in 2030 van zonnepanelen komt. Energiebedrijven zullen hun rol moeten herzien, zo verwacht het bureau.
Het aandeel elektriciteit dat wordt opgewekt met zonnepanelen, zal snel groeien, zo verwacht Roland Berger. In een bericht op de website staat de volgende verwachting: “In our view, solar PV could be responsible for 9-12 % of total electricity production in Europe by 2030, largely exceeding expectations of IEA, the World Energy Council and even Greenpeace.”
Die groei zal een verschuiving teweeg brengen in de energiesector, net als de opkomst van schaliegas uit de VS dat deed.
